hmmm. after jaymie read all the articles i found on ice hockey, she s rounded down her dream skates to the bauer (silver/gold classic & 4000). blah. after reading those articles i now have no idea which skates i should get.
i didnt know you are not supposed to get skates that are over your skating skills - like how i shouldnt think of getting the pro tacks anytime soon =D
they said it was gonna be bad. i cant really remember. but it was gonna be bad for you. hmm
anyway! im at a great loss of what to do - to buy the ccm vector 4.0 or what??? i dont need good skates yet, i know my standard. so, i guess its the 4.0 for now d=
i really feel like buying skates online. but i think i need to get myself fitted for the shoe size first. thats the most important ^^ . when i upgrade my boots (which will most likely be next year) i ll buy online. heh.

lemme recap. jaymie and i have been through 2 lessons and completed pre-alpha and alpha. whee! we re spared from learning those turns so the next thing we ll learn is the hockey stop ! heh. i believe we ll be able to blend in with dah others soon (hopefully!)
and i really dislike the snow plow stop. its so.. urrghhh. not really useful if you wanna break immediately. and it gave my right leg a cramp. no, 4 cramps.
too bad we wont have any lesson this friday (due to the hockey tournament), but i ll be watching.
ahh. and about those NHL jerseys - i think i like the atlanta thrashers and the anaheim ducks (their logos, that is). but they look kinda weird if you wear them without any hockey gear - they tend to look like silk pyjamas. funny.
and im still wondering why there are so many ice hockey boots owners who can already skate rather well, but only skate - shouldnt they move on to ice hockey or something?? its not interesting at all to skate around in circles all the time.. ice hockey is.
